A huge congratulations to Josué Welsh for graduating last night! Josué has done so much for this program over the past 4 year and we are super proud of him. Although he will be greatly missed, we cannot wait to see what the next chapter brings for him!

We had a great time celebrating a historic season at our wrestling banquet this afternoon! Congratulations to the following wrestlers (and parents) for winning season awards:

Mountain Island is off to a great start at the NCHSAA state wrestling championships!
Ryan and Josué both won their first round matchups by pin and are into the semi finals! They will both wrestle at 4:30pm today.
