Here is why it matters. The broker changed a policy in April. Nobody called you. You found out in June, from a denial.
That is what not knowing costs. Not embarrassment. Money you already spent fuel and payroll to earn.
Most operators are not lazy about research. They are busy. You are dispatching at 6am and reconciling at 9pm, so “go read the state manual update” never wins the day. So you guess, or you ask somebody in a Facebook group who is also guessing.
Perplexity is the one that searches the live web and hands you the answer with the link it came from. Not a guess. A source you can click.
Ten boards in this drop:
1. What Perplexity actually is
2. The problem, too much information, not enough time, no idea what is true
3. Why it matters
4. How it works, four steps
5. Let’s build something, market research in minutes
6. The prompts I use every day, copy them
7. Mistakes to avoid, with the fix beside each one
8. How every industry uses it, transportation first
9. The HGI Stack, start to finish
10. Your assignment
The move is not asking it a big question. Big questions get you a nice paragraph you cannot use. Ask it something with a date and a place on it.
Try this one, this is prompt 4 corrected for today:
“What changed in Medicaid non-emergency medical transportation policy in North Carolina in the last 90 days? Give me the source link for each item. If you cannot source it, say so instead of guessing.”
Swap your state in. Read what comes back. Then click every single link, because that checking habit is the actual skill, not the search.
One thing I will say plain. Perplexity researches. It does not write in your voice and it is not your strategist. That is why board 9 shows a stack and not one tool. Perplexity finds it, Claude thinks through it, ChatGPT shapes it, automation runs it, and a human signs off before anything leaves the building. The human review box is not decoration.
Your assignment this week. Pick one topic that touches your money. Rates, a payer policy, a competitor, a contract coming up for bid. Research it. Get five sources you can actually open. Write down the takeaways.
Then bring it to office hours.
Thursday, 7pm ET. Bring what you found. We will pull it apart together.
Search smarter. Check the links. Decide faster.
Life is what you make it. Make every day count.
