🚨 FRAUD ALERT 🚨 A growing number of companies are aggressively advertising so-called concealed carry permits that can allegedly be obtained through a brief online video and a short 10-question quiz, with no classroom instruction, no range time, and no live-fire qualification. Participants who complete these programs are then prompted to pay approximately $200 for a certificate that is entirely invalid in North Carolina.
A disclaimer stating it is "not valid in North Carolina" is typically buried in small print within a lengthy paragraph, and many individuals only discover this after reaching the payment stage.
Please be reminded that North Carolina law requires an eight-hour, in-person concealed carry course along with a live-fire range qualification involving a minimum of 30 rounds fired at specified distances. There are no shortcuts or exceptions. Don’t be fooled by this fraudulent offer!
