Good morning Chapel Grove families!

This year, report cards will not be mailed to students’ homes. Report cards will be sent home with students on the last day of school. If your child is not at school on the last day, report cards will be available for pickup during the scheduled times listed on the flyer below. Please note that a valid ID will be required for report card pickup.

Parents can also view their child’s grades through Infinite Campus. If you need assistance with obtaining your activation code or accessing grades, please contact the school office.

Good evening Wildcats! We wanted to call and just give you an update on testing here at Chapel Grove. Things have been going extremely well and we want to thank you and your student for that. Attendance has been incredible with a huge shout out going to fifth grade who has had all students in attendance for both reading and math EOG’s. Fifth grade will take science tomorrow and I’m sure that they will continue their trend. We want to brag for just a moment on the effort that all of our students have put into the work behind their tests as they have gone into extra time provided and shown strategies that were taught to them on their scratch paper. Remember that retestsbwill begin on Thursday for reading and Friday for math. Thank you again for your support of your student and your teachers and for helping your child remember that a test does not define who they are but that they are absolutely rocking it out. We could not be more proud! While we’re at it a quick shout out our teachers who are working together to ensure that everyone has a test administrator, are covering one another, helping out in all the small ways that make huge differences and our incredible teacher assistants who are moving from classroom to classroom proctoring the tests. We couldn’t do it without you and a dedicated group of volunteers. Let’s keep up the good work and we’ll see you tomorrow morning!

¡Buenas noches, Wildcats! Queríamos llamarles para darles una actualización sobre las pruebas aquí en Chapel Grove. Todo ha ido de maravilla y queremos agradecerles a ustedes y a sus hijos por ello. La asistencia ha sido increíble, con una mención especial para quinto grado, donde todos los estudiantes asistieron a las pruebas EOG de lectura y matemáticas. Quinto grado tomará ciencias mañana y estoy seguro de que continuarán con esta racha. Queremos presumir un momento del esfuerzo que todos nuestros estudiantes han dedicado al trabajo previo a las pruebas, ya que han aprovechado el tiempo extra que se les proporcionó y han demostrado las estrategias que se les enseñaron en sus borradores. Recuerden que las repeticiones de las pruebas comenzarán el jueves para lectura y el viernes para matemáticas. Gracias nuevamente por su apoyo a sus hijos y a sus maestros, y por ayudar a sus hijos a recordar que una prueba no los define, pero que lo están haciendo de maravilla. ¡No podríamos estar más orgullosos! Aprovechando la ocasión, queremos agradecer a nuestros profesores, que trabajan en equipo para garantizar que todos tengan un responsable de examen, se apoyan mutuamente y colaboran en todos esos pequeños detalles que marcan la diferencia. También queremos agradecer a nuestros increíbles auxiliares docentes, que se desplazan de aula en aula supervisando las pruebas. No podríamos hacerlo sin ustedes y un grupo de voluntarios muy comprometidos. ¡Sigamos así y nos vemos mañana por la mañana!

“Laissez les bons temps rouler!!!!” Let the good times roll as the Cajun French of Louisiana say at Mardi Gras and Boy Howdy did we ever!!!!Teacher Appreciation Week 2026 is in the books and we celebrated ALL week long!!!! From an Underground Spirit Week for staff only to gaining 25 pounds from incredible food and a Pep Rally that our students will remember all their lives, a TIME was had!!!!!

A huge thank you to Communities in Schools, Chapel Grove Baptist Church, New Beginning Christian Center and Dot Cherry for the donations that helped make our week so incredible for our staff!!!!

Good afternoon Chapel Grove! In order to make the best decisions for students we are making a slight change to our testing schedule. Our Math EOG will now be administered on Tuesday, May 12th and Science for 5th grade only will be given on Wednesday, May 13th. The Reading retest will take place on Thursday, May 14th, Math retesting on Friday, May 15th and Science retesting on Monday, May 18th. Thank you for continuing to support us and your student as we work to make decisions for our learners that set them up for success!

¡Buenas tardes, Chapel Grove! Para poder tomar las mejores decisiones para nuestros estudiantes, hemos realizado un pequeño cambio en nuestro calendario de exámenes. El examen EOG de Matemáticas se administrará el martes 12 de mayo y el de Ciencias (solo para 5.º grado) el miércoles 13 de mayo. La repetición del examen de Lectura se llevará a cabo el jueves 14 de mayo, la de Matemáticas el viernes 15 de mayo y la de Ciencias el lunes 18 de mayo. ¡Gracias por su continuo apoyo y el de sus hijos mientras trabajamos para que nuestros estudiantes alcancen el éxito!

Well hey there Wildcats! Tomorrow is the big day that we have been preparing for all year. The EOG's begin and Reading is the first test we take. Remember to return the letter you were given regarding retesting should the opportunity arise and please be sure that your student is at school on time and well rested with a good breakfast. Remind your student that one test on one day does not define them and as long as they give it their best effort, take their time, read the selections and questions carefully and use the strategies their teachers have given them, nothing but great things will happen! We believe in you Chapel Grove and know that you are going to ROAR to incredible growth and scores!

¡Hola, Wildcats! Mañana es el gran día para el que nos hemos estado preparando todo el año. Comienzan los EOG y la primera prueba es Lectura. Recuerden devolver la carta que recibieron sobre la posibilidad de repetir la prueba, si surge la oportunidad, y asegúrense de que su hijo/a llegue a la escuela a tiempo, bien descansado/a y con un buen desayuno. Recuérdenle a su hijo/a que una sola prueba no lo/la define y que, siempre que se esfuerce al máximo, se tome su tiempo, lea atentamente las opciones y las preguntas, y utilice las estrategias que sus maestros le han enseñado, ¡todo saldrá de maravilla! ¡Creemos en ustedes, Chapel Grove, y sabemos que van a rugir hacia un crecimiento y unas calificaciones increíbles!
