✨ Around the world in one night! 🌍✈️
Our hallways at Statesville Road Elementary were absolutely buzzing tonight for our Multicultural Family Night, and wow... what an unforgettable celebration of our incredible community!

From the rhythmic beats of cultural dances to the beautiful melodies of traditional songs, our talented students completely stole the show. 🎶💃

Then, our amazing students and families took to the runway for a stunning Cultural Fashion Show, rocking gorgeous traditional attire with so much pride!

But the journey didn't stop there. Attendees also got to:
* 🍽️ Taste delicious flavors from every corner of the globe.
* 🎨 Get beautiful henna tattoo art done.
* 🗺️ Explore amazing classroom projects highlighting different countries and cultures.

A massive THANK YOU to all the families, students, and staff who cooked, performed, dressed up, and put their hearts into making this night so special. We are so proud to be a school where diversity is celebrated every single day! ❤️

Today we hosted the Staff vs. Students basketball game following Field Day. It was a close one but the staff took the W🥇.

We are very excited about celebrating our Pre-k, Kindergarten, and 5th grade scholars as they are promoted to the next grade level!

Performance Reminder📣: 3rd Grade & Glee Club students will be our special performers NEXT WEEK at Multicultural Night! Reminder that ALL students and families are welcome to sign up to participate in the Fashion Show (see previous post).

🍎 Temporary ink for a permanent cause! 💉
Ever looked at Ms.Teague and thought, "You know what’s missing? A giant slice of pizza on their forehead"?
Well, now is your chance to make it happen!

We are hosting the ultimate **Tattoo the Teacher** fundraiser, and the rules are simple:
$1 = Pick the Design: Want them to sport a majestic unicorn? A calculator? A stick figure of yourself? Every dollar is a vote for the ink they’ll have to wear! 🎨
$1 = Pick the Spot: Want it on their calf? Their bicep? Their... forehead? (Okay, maybe keep it school-appropriate, folks!) Every dollar decides the location. 📍

​How it works:

​Bring your dollars to the booth in the main lobby during breakfast Monday through Thursday

​Choose your tattoo and teacher

•Watch them get "tatted" on Friday
