Right now a lot of people are home from work due to this virus, here is a question for those of you that only have group life coverage.
Did you know that your policy only covers you while you are actively employed?

Are you sure that you are covered during this quarantine?

God forbid if anything were to happen to you, are you willing to take a chance that your family won't be taken care.

DO YOU KNOW WHAT INSURANCE ON THE JOB ENTAILS????? 🤔

1. You DONT own it
2. You only get a CERTIFICATE... not a policy
3. Has stipulations on how you can die
4. In some cases can be AMENDED - EVEN in death
5. May have an "Active Employee" Clause meaning if you're off on sick leave etc and not working it's NOT in FORCE😱
6. Companies may merge and you wouldn't know if it's been changed
7. The company has the right in some cases to change the policy (coverage, date of coverage, etc) without your consent
8. Is normally not enough (1-2 times your salary)
9. It’s CHEAPER because of the GROUP RATE!
10. When you leave the job...IT DOESN’T go with YOU!!
ENOUGH SAID... Just don't trust your biggest asset (your income) on Group life insurance
