Busy rainy day in the 3s! We swam in the ocean, went into the hall to see our finished ocean mural, looked for fish in the ocean, did some yoga by the ocean and lastly made ocean snacks with Swedish fish, So yummy!

Happy 5th Birthday Cataleya!

American Child will be closed Monday May 25th for Memorial Day.

We are SO close to earning our party celebrating being able to write A-Z! We couldn’t be more excited to learn and perfect our letters!!!

Ocean weeks continues and today the 3s learned an important lesson. We talked about pollution in our oceans and how we think ocean animals feel about it. We cleaned up our playground and threw it in the trashcan where all trash should go so it doesn’t end up in the water. To continue the lesson Mrs Jessica trashed the classroom (thanks to the staff for helping us collect trash for this lesson). We had lunch with all the mess around us and now know how ocean animals must feel to have their home polluted and as our sweet Gracie said “Mother Earth would not like this” and the animals dont either! Let’s keep our oceans clean! 💙

It’s ocean week! So we turned our windows in the 3s into an aquarium! Everyone was so excited for the blue tint on our windows and the colorful fish! It’s going to be another fun week!!

It’s been a fun week of focusing on our letters! One of our projects was choosing a letter to make a poster for our letter parade. We walked around the playground while the 4s named the letter.

This week in the 3s we have been working on our letters. Today we had an alphabet with delicious snacks that start with each letter. Our class was so excited to share what letter the snack they brought starts with.

We’ve had so much fun in the 4’s working on our alphabet and our names! We are working towards a party if we can recognize and write all 26 of our letters!
