To celebrate we want to share the incredible school partners we have for the 2026-27 school year. We're proud to say our free after school programming, STEAMLab, is in 39 schools for this academic year.

Once a month we invite community members to have lunch in our offices to learn more about what Digi-Bridge does and our community impact. Food and refreshments are provided, as well as Lego time and connections with others passionate about education in the Queen City!

We've been trying out some new things this summer... like remote STEAMKit builds!

Over the past few weeks we've partnered with Honeywell to host a remote STEAMKit build opportuny.

We sent kits to 25 different Honeywell locations across the U.S. so they could host STEAMKit builds at their satellite offices. Those STEAMKits will then be distributed to schools near each of those satellite offices, allowing them to make a difference in their immediate communities!

We love working with companies to help them make an impact in a way that aligns with their work and mission!

Let's talk July impact!

Just because school is out for summer, it doesn't mean Digi-Bridge slows down! In July our volunteer partners and Digi-Bridge team assembled and distributed over 4,000 STEAMKits for students in the Charlotte area!

If you don't know, STEAMKits are small kits full of science, technology, engineering, arts and math activities that we distribute for free to students in the city so they can continue their love of these subjects outside of the classroom.

We're looking for an organized, passionate and dynamic operations coordinator to join the Digi-Bridge team part time!

This person will work closely with our director of operations to champion our day-to-day office efficiency and manage the logistical ex*****on of our signature STEAMKit Build events. This role is ideal for a detail obsessed person who is energized by process, systems, and executing behind-the-scenes work that aid in the success of impactful events.

Corning interns came to help us build STEAMKits... and left having done SO much more!

This group of interns dove into organizing supplies for our STEAMLab and sorted through dozens of LEGO robotics kits, all so our future scientists have what they need to explore, build, and discover.

Digi-Bridge runs on volunteers like this. Huge thanks to Corning for sending young STEAM professionals who are already giving back to the next generation coming up behind them. That's the kind of volunteer energy that keeps Digi-Bridge running đź’™

We want to take a moment to thank our incredible partners at Charlotte Wine & Food! A few weeks ago they wrapped their 38th year of fundraising and we were one of the few lucky children's charities to be a beneficiary of their work.

Over the past year, the Charlotte Wine and Food team raised $480,000 to benefit Beds for Kids, Families Forward Charlotte and Wayfinders. We're honored to be among so many incredible nonprofits, and we're grateful to Charlotte Wine and Food for all the do to support children in the Queen City.
