Thompson Circle of Parents-BREATHE Breathe is a parent support group aimed at empowering parents and caregivers and advocating for our children and families!

We are:

*Solution-drive and results-oriented
*Working together to overcome challenges
*Celebrating family successes, accomplishments, and milestones
*Supporting one another as we move through and overcome challenges
*NOT just a mother's group! Fathers and male caregivers contri

bute abundantly and positively impact our circle. The idea behind Circle of Parents--Living the Protective Factors:

*Parental Resilience--Being Strong and Flexible
*Social Connections--Parents Need Friends
*Concrete Support in Times of Need--Everybody Needs Help Sometimes
*Knowledge of Parenting and Child Development--Being a Good Parent is Part Natural and Part Learned
*Social and Emotional Competence of Children--Parents Need to Help Their Children Communicate
