Do you love reading and want to help encourage learners to love reading too? We need you to join us in creating a virtual book club for our TKV learners!

We are creating this book club so that our TKV learners can have read aloud books available to them and build their love of reading at all times, but we can't do it alone. We are looking for people to read all kinds of books from kindergarten level up!

If you are interested in recording yourself reading and joining our book club please fill out the Google form labeled Book Club Reader Form in our linktree!

Want to get entered to win a $20 gift card if you're a TKV member or a $10 one if you're not a TKV member and learn about TKV? Then this is the game for you! Each day from 11/19 to 11/25 we will post a story with a picture of a unique turkey you will have to find on our website. Our story will ask you to answer a question about TKV and you will reply to the story with your answer, where you found the turkey, your name, and if you are a TKV member or not! Each day of the game you can get 2 points, one for the location of the turkey and one for the correct answer to the question! Each point will enter you once in the drawing for one of 2 gift card rewards! (See 2nd slide!) You have 14 chances to win if you play everyday and get the answers correct!

Hi friends, happy Friday! We are holding 2 interest meeting next week for perspective new members on Monday and Tuesday! Monday's is at 11am and Tuesday at 8 pm so we can hopefully catch as many of you as we can! Hello friends! Happy Thursday! Today is our final exec board intro and we close with our President Jocelyn!

Jocelyn is a Senior, Biology, Cell and Physiology Concentration, B.S. and Psychology, B.S. with a minor in Chemistry.

Her favorite memory is Spring 2019 Big Event - we all stayed behind to clean up and take pictures! It was a wonderful bonding moment.

Jocelyn is so excited for a new year of learning in TKV as she and all of us navigate this new adventure of a year!

Happy last Monday of August! Time is flying and we are so excited to get back to working with our learners in just a couple short weeks! Below we introduce one of our Co-Vice Presidents, Elise Lyght!

Elise is a Senior English major with minors in Youth and Communities, and Applied Understandings in Global Education!

She loved when she got her 1st learner Elijah to open up to her during a tutoring session.
"I was (and still am) absolutely terrible at math, but he was able to solve a problem before I could. We both laughed about it, and it was so great that he felt so proud of himself!"

We love getting to learn just as much from our learners as they do us. Brilliant minds in the making! See you all on Zoom soon!
