Today kicks off our annual Krispy Kreme Doughnut Sale, and we’re so excited to get this one rolling!

Every dozen doughnuts sold (or “doughnation” made 😉) helps Locust Elementary students get to go on field trips! Our teachers have some fun, hands-on, and memorable trips planned, and your support helps make those experiences possible. 💚💛

Just a quick reminder that breakfast and lunch are free for all students! This wonderful opportunity is made possible through our CEP program. Our dedicated child nutrition team works diligently to prepare nutritious meals. We encourage families to take advantage of these free meal offerings. We love seeing our students' bright faces each morning! To help build your child’s confidence and ensure a smooth, on-time start to the school day, we kindly ask families to allow students to walk into the building on their own.

We completely understand that some mornings are tougher than others. If your child is having a hard day, you are always welcome to walk them to the front doors. From there, please rest assured that our caring, highly qualified staff are ready to take over, offer a reassuring smile, and help them transition comfortably to their classroom.

Attention 3rd Grade Parents: Tomorrow, our 3rd grade Colts will take their Beginning-of-Grade (BOG) test!

Please remind your child not to stress—this test is simply a way for us to see what they already know and where they are as they begin 3rd grade. It also gives students a chance to become familiar with the testing experience before EOG testing later this year.

⏰ Please make sure your child arrives on time! Testing will begin shortly after the tardy bell.
