This message is for parents of students who ride bus 564. The bus needed assistance for a minor bump-up off of Beaver Dam Road. Our transportation department responded. Everyone is OK and the bus is now finishing its route. Students should arrive home 45 minutes late.

We have had an excellent start to the school year.

Please check student backpacks for the back to school paperwork, and return those completed forms to the school.

We will be starting beginning of year mClass assessments and iReady Math assessments this week.

3rd grade students will be taking the Beginning of Grade Reading Test on August 26.

We look forward to seeing everyone at Orientation. Parents you have two options: Monday, August 10 at 6:00 or Tuesday, August 11 at 10:00. Please choose one of those options. If you plan for your student to ride the school bus this school year, please stop by the transportation table in the cafeteria to sign up. Also, parents if your student will be a car rider this school please stop by the front office to pick up your car tag,

Students first day of school is Wednesday, August 12. We can't wait to get this school year started.

Tryon teachers and staff have been working hard to prepare classrooms, lesson planning, and getting final tasks completed to welcome our Tryon Tigers.

Our Back To School shopping night was amazing! We loved seeing our students, both new and returning, and helping them shop for school supplies.

Good evening parents this is Ms. Knick Principal of Tryon Elementary School

We hope to see everyone out for the Back to School Shop, Haircuts, and Hotdog Event on Monday, August 3 from 3:00-6:00.

Kindergarten assessments will be given on Tuesday and Wednesday August 4-5.

We have scheduled two Orientation options for families. Please choose one of the sessions to attend.

The options are Monday, August 10 at 6:00 or Tuesday, August 11 at 10:00. Both sessions will begin with a brief parent meeting in the cafeteria.

We are counting down to the first day of school which is Wednesday, August 12
