It’s a Great Day to be a Panther here at Druid Hills Academy! Here at Druid Hills it is our goal that EACH student shows a year’s worth of growth in all subject areas. We have a “pantherriffic” staff that is dedicated to the success of all students. Our highly qualified staff has a wide range of experiences from board certified teachers to teachers with advanced degrees. At Druid Hills, we are constantly using technology to enhance global awareness which is embedded throughout our curriculum.

A week of celebrations at DHA 🎉

DHA has been very busy these last few days, celebrating both our staff and our students!
Here’s a quick snippet of all the joy happening around our school this week: 67 Day, Joy in the Carolinas, Staff Holiday Celebration hosted by the Charlotte Knights and Classroom Central. Our school community continues to shine, and we are grateful for every moment of connection, excitement, and celebration.

After closely monitoring weather conditions, all CMS schools will operate on a two-hour delay on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2025. School start times and bus pickup times will occur two hours later than normal. Before-school programs (BSEP) are canceled; After-school programs (ASEP) will operate on a regular schedule.
If weather conditions require additional schedule adjustments, we will communicate those changes through ParentSquare, cmsk12.org, and CMS social media platforms.

🎉 Today we celebrated what we call OUTSTANDING Growth!! Our school scores are in… and we are officially in the BLUE!!! 💙

This is done by keeping our student’s focused each and every day, starting with the way that student’s come to school dressed in uniform. We feel that being a uniform school has created a dress-for-success appeal at Druid Hills. It has improved student achievement, self-esteem, and behavior.
