Home - La Pryor Independent School District It is the mission of the District to provide all students with the opportunity to develop academically, vocationally, and socially by providing quality educational programs that allow our students to succeed.

This week our students worked towards hot Cheetos and cheese for successfully completing lessons in Progress Learning for math and reading. Over half of our students reached it this week! Thank you Natasha for providing this treat for our students.

February Student of the Month was recognized at the school board meeting this week.
Congratulations Avienne Valles, Jacob Allen, Maya Rico and our teacher of the month was Cornelio Landin.

Cheer Try-Out Practice for 8th graders will not be held Sunday.
Be at gym at 8:30am Monday for a run-through before try-outs at 10:30.

Join us on February 9 @ 5:15 in the teacher’s lounge for our first PTO meeting!

starting Wednesday,
February 1.
We encourage all to wear a college shirt of the choice.

Our 6th, 7th, and 8th graders were rewarded with active time outside due to meeting goals set by the campus.

January was the start of our students tracking their AR points. We are busy reading and taking quizzes to reach our goals and earn incentives. Ask me what book I’ve been reading lately!

Today kicked off the 2023 Atascosa County Livestock Show where Charlotte ISD was well represented.
Our students that competed in the goat show consisted of Kadence Luna, Clarissa Gaitan, Alexi Cumpian, Gil Romo and Iliana Romo.
Gil Romo placed 7th in his class and Iliana Romo placed 5th in her class.
Congratulations!

3rd Six Weeks Awards assembly took place today. We are so glad parents were able to come out and join us.

Parents, if you are attending the awards tomorrow, please arrive a few minutes early. You will need to enter through the middle school front doors and check in at the office.

Our district is heading into the second semester of the 2022-2023 school year.
Breakfast was prepared and served bright and early by the administrators and a few other dedicated staff members.

Special guests attended the Middle School games today. The Grinch even came out to have some fun!

The games and activities wrapped up the first semester for Charlotte Middle School staff and students.

Middle School students enjoyed a day of games and activities before their winter break. There was lots of laughing, cheering on others, and teamwork throughout the games.

Middle School had a special guest on campus this past Friday afternoon!
A guy in a red suit and a white beard visited with our students and passed out candy canes.
Santa was at Charlotte Middle School checking to see if the students were naughty or nice!
I'm sure he found everyone to be on the nice list!

These students were recognized at the December 14th school board meeting. A student from each grade level was chosen to receive this recognition.

Our Trojanettes 🏀 and 🏀 Trojans played hard last night!!

Trojanettes took the W 🥳 against Sabinal with a score of 47-4.

Trojans fought hard and came up short at the end, 35-34!! It was a great game!

Way to represent 💛 CMS!! We are proud of all of you!

Congratulations 🎉 to the Middle School Trojanettes for finishing as the 3rd place team at the Pettus Tournament today.
