Good Evening, York Chester Families:
This is Mrs. Bradley calling with important information for the week.
On Tuesday, October 13th, Quarter 1 will end. 1/4 of the school year is already almost completed. Every minute and every day is important to student learning. Please continue to ensure that your student comes to school on time every day, displays positive behavior, completes all of their class assisgnments, and gives their best effort.
On Wednesday, Quarter 2 will commence. Also, 8th Grade students will take their Science Check In. Students should be present, rested, and on time for school.
On Thursday, October 15th, school will dismiss at 12:30pm due to Parent Conferences. Car riders must be picked up at 12:30. Bus riders will leave after school on two separate loads. 15 minute Conferences will take place from 1pm-6:45pm. There will be a dinner break for teachers from 4:30-5:30. A letter was sent home with students on Friday requesting parents to sign up for conference times. Please return the letter on Monday. Your student's teachers will confirm the conference time.
On Friday, 10/16, there is no school for students due to an Optional Teacher Workday.
Reminders:
Parents must follow the traffic patterns for drop off and pick up. Students should not be dropped off before 7:45am. There is no adult supervision. All car riders must be picked up on 5th St. right in front of the school at dismissal. Starting Monday, students cannot be picked up on Clay St. or cross the street to waiting cars.
On Thursday, 10/22, school pictures will be taken of all students. Parents can purchase picture packages online. Also, Report Cards will be sent home.
