Turns out we really DO make it out of the group chat. šŸ˜‚šŸ¤Ž

Our first The Table | CLT šŸ¤Ž meetup was a 7am Walk & Talk, and seeing women actually show up ready to connect, move, laugh, and get to know each other was everything I hoped this community could be.

We walked 3.5 miles, talked for hours, and left already looking forward to the next one. šŸ„¹

What started as me simply wanting to find my tribe turned into realizing that SO many of us are looking for the same thing, genuine friendships, new experiences, and women to grow through life with.

So, I made us a table.

Chai Pani officially made the Asheville food list! From the gorgeous atmosphere to the butter chicken, paneer tikka, KFC sandwiches and Beef Bihari Kababā€¦we thoroughly enjoyed this one!

I also loved the spice plate concept, because everyone at the table can customize their own heat level. And bonus points for being a spot we could enjoy with Kylie, too.

Making friends as an adult isā€¦ interesting šŸ˜‚ but Iā€™m officially in my ā€œput yourself out thereā€ era.

I went to the Black Girls in Media Summer SoirƩe and honestly, it was such a good reminder that finding your people sometimes starts with simply putting yourself in the room.

Good music, good food, permanent jewelry, beautiful Black women in media and marketing, and plenty of opportunities to connect.

So hereā€™s to finding my tribe in Charlotte, one event at a time.

Celebrating my sister called for something a little extra special. šŸ„‚āœØ

We booked a private dining room at Eddie Vā€™s for her birthday, and from the food and ambiance to the service and all the little details, the entire experience was 10/10.

The private dining menu gave us SO much to try, everything was delicious, and I especially loved how accommodating and thoughtful they were with Kylie. šŸ„¹ Even having the TV in the room so we could share a slideshow and video messages for my sister made the night feel that much more personal.

If you have a birthday, anniversary, family dinner, or special occasion coming up in Charlotte, definitely put this one on your list. šŸ¤

Yesterday, we celebrated Fatherā€™s Day the best way we know how; good food, family, and time together.

This is exactly why I love designing spaces.

A home should feel like an extension of you, not just a place to put furniture. The goal with this space was to create something moody, cozy, elevated, and intentionalā€¦a living room that instantly changes the way you feel when you walk in.

From the darker tones to the textures and lighting, every detail was chosen to create a vibe that feels warm, grounding, and authentic to the person living here. šŸ–¤
