La Escuelita San Marcos is a bilingual preschool located at Hopewell Presbyterian Church in Huntersville, NC. The preschool is designed to support growing Latino communities near St. Studies show that without adequate preschool preparation, many Hispanic children enter school well behind their non-Hispanic counterparts, achieve at lower levels throughout school, and graduate at lower rates. rs are concerned that the achievement gap slows the pace of instruction throughout the class. At La Escuelita San Marcos, we work to bridge that gap, focusing on developing early language, math, reading, writing, music, and social skills to ensure these children are ready for kindergarten.
