Our goal is to help others learn how to enjoy music, specifically by playing the violin. We are committed to guiding our students on their journey to success, whether it be learning how to play a favorite song, winning a competition, or getting a spot in an orchestra. Last Thursday, our studio had the honor of hosting a masterclass with William Shaub, concertmaster of Knoxville Symphony Orchestra. Students gave wonderful performances of Bohm’s Sarabande, Bach’s Gigue from the E Major Partita, Accolay’s Violin Concerto, and Bruch’s Violin Concerto, receiving insightful coaching and thoughtful feedback from Mr. Shaub after each performance.

To conclude, the audience enjoyed a set of duos vibrantly performed by William and Eric Boruff, followed by an engaging Q&A session with Mr. Shaub.

A HUGE thank you to Mr. Shaub for sharing his immense wealth of expertise, knowledge, and artistry with our students!! 🎻

Boruff Violin Studio is excited to welcome violinist William Shaub to give a masterclass on Thursday, August 21 at 5:00pm at the Rafters at Historic St. Mark's. This masterclass is free and open to the public!

Saturday, August 23, Mr. Shaub will be performing Bruch's Violin Concerto No. 1 with the Rock Hill Symphony Orchestra. Tickets are available at https://rhsymphony.org!
