Your brain isn’t broken. It’s just buffering 🧠💭
Put the phone down. Step outside. Touch grass. 🌲
Walking in nature = a reset button:
🌿 Noise down, senses up: Leaves crunch. Wind on your face. Light through trees. Your brain stops scanning for threats and starts noticing again.
🚶♀️ Forward motion = forward thinking: Anxiety hates movement. A 20-minute walk untangles thoughts better than 2 hours spiraling on the couch.
☁️ Instant perspective: That email. That deadline. Look at the sky. Look at that old oak tree. Your problems don’t disappear, but they get quieter.
How to do it when your head is loud:
No destination → Wander. Sit on a rock. Turn around when you feel like it.
Phone on airplane mode → Photos yes. Doomscrolling no.
Name 3 things → 3 you see, 3 you hear, 3 you feel. Gets you out of your head.
Let it be boring → You don’t need an epiphany. Just 15 minutes without input.
You don’t need a mountain. A park. A trail. The loop around your block.
