When my granddaughter Kennedy was little, she’d light up every time she traced a squiggly line or finished a maze. Now her little sister Millie is doing the same—beaming with pride and saying, “Look, MeMa! I did it!”

That joy? That’s why I created MeMa’s Growing Minds Adventures.

These workbooks are made with love and laughter, just like the best moments of childhood.

The first book is perfect for ages 3–5, full of fun tracing lines, curves, shapes, and beginner pre-writing practice. https://www.rfr.bz/fed2618
The second book is great for ages 5–6 and adds mazes, matching games, letter tracing, and simple word searches to build early reading confidence. https://www.rfr.bz/ffd0c7d

Each page is designed to feel like play, but behind the giggles are real skills—fine motor practice, pencil control, and early learning foundations that help them shine.

Made by MeMa (that’s me!) and proudly approved by Millie and Kennedy

The third book is coming soon, but you can grab the first two right now on Amazon → [Insert your link]

Let’s grow some joyful little minds together

I’ll never forget the day I danced my way out of a bad mood.

I was sitting in my kitchen, overwhelmed, frustrated, and totally stuck in my head. Nothing had gone right that day. I didn’t want to journal, meditate, or process. I just wanted to scream.

Instead, I turned on music. Loud.
I let it all out—one messy, glorious dance move at a time.

The tightness in my chest, the swirl of thoughts — they didn’t go away completely, but they loosened.

Movement is medicine.
Sometimes your body knows how to release what your mind can’t explain.

That’s what Chapter 9 of Breaking Free from Emotional Constipation is all about.

And yes, I totally stole “Dance it Out” from Grey’s Anatomy.
(But don’t worry—I gave Meredith and Cristina credit. )

Let’s move some stuck energy.

The Right People, The Right Energy Chapter 7 of Breaking Free from Emotional Constipation Ever notice how some people leave you feeling lighter—like a breath of fresh air—while others feel like an emotional marathon just to be around? In Chapter 7, we dive into this truth: the energy around you matters. This isn’t about canceling everyone in your life. It’s about getting honest about what fills your cup... and what drains it dry. This chapter is for the over-explainers, the people-pleasers, and the quietly exhausted. If you’re tired of one-sided relationships or ready to reclaim your peace, this one’s for you. 𝗘𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲—𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴. 𝗜𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴. Your challenge from Chapter 7: 🌀 Make a Connection Map. Draw a circle and write your name in the middle. Around it, list the five people you interact with most. Next to each name, jot down how they make you feel. Then ask yourself: – Do they energize or exhaust me? – What small shifts could protect my peace? You don’t need perfect people around you. But you do need the right ones. 📘 Breaking Free from Emotional Constipation is available on Amazon. https://a.co/d/epAofqk

“No matter how positive, prayerful, or productive we are—sometimes life just hits hard. We don’t see it coming, and suddenly we’re standing in the middle of a moment we didn’t ask for, wondering what happened to our joy, our energy, our sense of direction.”

“The goal isn’t to avoid those moments. The goal is to recognize them for what they are—an invitation to reset. To get quiet. To reflect. To release. And to move forward, a little lighter than before.”

Making Intentional Business Decisions That Employees Will Appreciate

In the fast-paced business world, leaders often make quick decisions driven by deadlines and immediate needs. However, adopting an intentional approach to decision-making can significantly impact both the organization and its employees. Drawing inspiration from my upcoming book Dance it Out, Getting Unstuck (actual title TBD), I’d like to explore how making deliberate, thoughtful, and mindful business decisions can lead to better outcomes for everyone involved.
The Essence of Intentional Business Decisions
Intentional decision-making involves understanding the company's values, goals, and employees' well-being. It means moving from reactive measures to proactive strategies that align with long-term objectives. Intentionality requires self-awareness and reflection, essential qualities in both business and personal development.
Practical Steps to Make Intentional Business Decisions
Reflect on Core Values: Before making significant decisions, reflect on the company's core values. Ensure the decision aligns with these principles. For example, if employee well-being is a core value, consider how a new policy impacts work-life balance.
Engage in Active Listening: Actively listen to employees' concerns and suggestions. Regular meetings or surveys can gather valuable feedback, fostering trust and collaboration.
Consider Long-Term Impact: Think beyond immediate gains. Evaluate the long-term impact on the company and its employees. Will the decision support sustainable growth and enhance employee satisfaction and retention?
Benefits of Intentional Decision-Making
Intentional decisions have profound ripple effects:
Employee Engagement: Employees feel valued when their input is considered, leading to higher engagement and motivation.
Trust and Transparency: Transparent decision-making builds trust. Understanding the reasons behind decisions helps employees accept and support them.
Aligned Objectives: Intentionality ensures alignment with the company's mission and goals, creating a cohesive work environment.
Personal Anecdote: A Lesson in Intentional Leadership
Early in my career, I faced a critical decision about implementing new software. Instead of deciding alone, I involved my team in the process. Their insights were invaluable, revealing potential challenges and fostering a sense of ownership. The transition was smoother, and the team felt appreciated and respected.
Conclusion: A Call to Action
Making intentional business decisions is about valuing people and their development. Let's commit to being deliberate, thoughtful, and mindful in our decisions. Reflect on values, engage with employees, and think long-term. By doing so, we create a work environment where employees feel valued, motivated, and aligned with the company’s vision. Let’s embark on this journey towards intentional and impactful leadership together.
