Hey everyone, I've got some bad news.

We were hoping to reschedule for July but with the Governor's lock down extension, that isn't looking likely. It's looking like it's going to be August or September now.

Also I'm going to be deactivating my personal Facebook for awhile. I will lose access to this reunion page when I do. As I understand it, the page will remain active. I just lose my Admin access.

We have 146 MPHS alumni out of a class of 220 following this page. So if anyone wants to step in and take control of this page and the planning of a reunion later in the year I can make you an Admin before I deactivate my personal account. If you're interested shoot me a PM..

Hopefully we can still make it happen, we just have to wait and see what else 2020 throws at us.

Just a reminder to everyone, the reunion was supposed to be a week from today. It has been postponed due to Covid-19 and the Governor's rules on gatherings. We are hoping to reschedule for later this summer when things return to normal. We will update the page when we have a new date set.

Unfortunately due to Covid-19, and the uncertainty we are facing over the next few months, we will be canceling the reunion that was scheduled for June 13th at Cabarrus Brewing Co.. We are planning on rescheduling for the fall. This page will remain active but it may be a few months before we post again. Looking forward to seeing you all when life is back to normal. Stay safe.

We have booked a venue! Our reunion will be June 13th 7-11pm at Cabarrus Brewing Company in Concord. Hope to see you all there!

Sorry for the lack of updates. We have all been a little busy with work and life in general. Don't worry, this Reunion is still a top priority to us. We were planning on using the Old MPMS for the venue, but unfortunately that didn't work out due to their no alcohol policy. So we are still shopping around for the right place. When we do find the perfect venue, we are going to have to put a deposit down. We have created a paypal account to collect and manage funds if anyone would like to donate. This isn't mandatory if you want to come. We plan to sell tickets day of to cover any costs not covered by donations. The paypal is under Amber (Hernandez) Layden. She is local and the most flexible with time to meet with venues and handle payments. Any extra funds after the reunion will be donated to the highschool. If you have any questions or have a venue in mind feel free to PM the page or me personally. Someone will get back to you promptly. -Zach Hicks

Quick Update for everyone. The majority of you voted for the reunion to be in June, but the date hasn't been set. We are working on the possible venues.. Stay tuned, alot of you will love the venue we have in mind!
