All of these words found me exactly when I needed to read them.
They found me in moments when I felt overwhelmed and overworked; trapped and indecisive; afraid and hiding from the truth.
I decided to share them publicly here because even though it's scary to admit when you're struggling—especially as a coach whose whole career is dedicated to helping others through their own periods of turbulence—ultimately, I know my fear of being vulnerable about my own struggles isn't doing me—or anyone else—any favors.
My goal for this post is to remind anyone who needs to hear it that all of these feelings are not only normal, they're universal to the experience of being a human—the experience of being a creature in search of comfort in a world where the only constant is change.
And even though its natural to fear the potential judgment that might come with speaking your tough truths out loud, again and again I'm reminded that pushing past that fear of vulnerability is actually what connects us, not what isolates us.
In fact—from what I've observed in my own life and the lives of so many others—hiding our truths and swallowing our struggles are often the very actions that fuel our fears—actions that only make us feel more isolated, more judged, more alone.
So, if you're feeling—or have ever felt—resistant to change, stuck in fear or avoidant of the truth, etc. I hope these words comfort you too, and remind you it's not only OK to reach out for help, it's a welcome bridge that connects you to others and makes the person on the other side of it feel a little less alone too.

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it a million times—having the privilege of coaching clients like Tracy, watching them experience all the life-changing realizations she’s described here, is so beyond magical.
We caught up the other night over video and she was absolutely glowing from the inside out. And I know this may sound “woo woo” but I truly could feel her energy shift. I could hear, see and feel that she has found her freedom from alcohol and is no longer battling it daily—or ever.
As Ive heard on many of our thisnakedmind coach training calls—and have experienced firsthand in my own life—the work starts when drinking stops.
That may sound crazy, but hear me out.
This whole Alcohol Freedom process actually has very little to do with drinking or avoiding alcohol—it’s about training your brain indifference towards it and evicting the big huge space it’s occupying in your mind rent free so that you have room for growth, for figuring out who YOU are, what you truly like, what you WANT in life…and also what you need to release beyond drinking.
This work teaches me something new everyday, and even though running my own business is one of the toughest things I’ve ever done, I truly can’t imagine NOT doing what I do—a phrase I literally never thought I’d say about my career just over 5 years ago when I was still drinking.
So thank you to Tracy, and to all of my clients who’ve allowed me to support them in this life-changing work. They do all the difficult parts because I, nor anyone else, can do it for them, and I’m just honored to be a witness to their real-time growth week-over-week. ♥️

Office Decor Tour! 🪩🌸🎀🎉
Considering I spend probably 90% of my time at home in my office, I wanted to make it as bright and fun as possible. 🦄
I’ve slowly been adding more and more pops of color over the last year, but it wasn’t until I got my new custom desk made for me that it felt like the room was finally coming together. 😍🛠️

HUGE thank you to the Axios team for including me on this list of 25 impressive women shaping CLT in 2023! 🎉🎉
If you had told me just five years ago when my world felt like it was collapsing all around me, that in just a few years, I’d not only be a nondrinker who owns her own alcohol-free company, but also be recognized as a community leader shaping our city by our most influential media outlet, there’s absolutely no way I would have believed you.
In fact, I probably wouldn’t have believed you if you told me this a month ago because I’m STILL in disbelief that I was even mentioned alongside these inspiring women! 😍
has believed in since day 1 when wrote our very first feature story when we launched in 2020. 💕
I’ll never forget the incredible response we received as a result of Emma’s piece, and have continued to receive every time they’ve covered our work since—most recently when covered the launch of our first festival! 😍🪩💃🏻
TL;DR Changing your relationship with alcohol when it’s holding you back can open the door to opportunities you could never imagine, and having community support is vital to keep you you going and growing. 💕♥️

The fact that I get to spend everyday helping beautiful humans like Lexi not only find freedom from alcohol, but often change their whole damn LIVES for the better in the process is still mind blowing🤯 for me in the best way.
Thank you, Lexi, for trusting me to help you along on this journey and for allowing me to be a small part of your evolution. ♥️
If you’re ready to find your ideal relationship with alcohol, but fear deprivation or boredom, I get it because I’ve been there too. The good news is, I can promise you—both through my personal experience and the transformations of my clients like Lex, letting go of the thing that you know is holding you back—even if it’s also the thing you think is also holding you together—brings FREEDOM and growth beyond all else. It’s tough, but it’s totally possible.
So, if you’re curious about changing your relationship with alcohol and are looking for modern, personalized, science based support (no abstinence or labels required!) I can help.

I always tell my clients, drinking alcohol isn’t wrong or immoral and teaching people to demonize or fear alcohol isn’t what our work is about. To me, fearing alcohol or sweets, etc. is just another cage.
To me, eternal alcohol abstinence isn’t the goal, especially if it means you feel deprived, punished or ashamed. The goal is to feel free and at peace with your drinking, so you can feel free and at peace in your life.
THAT is alcohol freedom to me, not fearing the red, white or pink liquid in pretty stemware for the rest of our lives.

I am THRILLED to share that the I’s are dotted, the T’s are crossed, and I am officially a Certified —one of less than 60 in the U.S. and less than 200 in the world! 🎉
Years ago—long before I started my own business, received my Life Coach Certification, or even really knew what a coach was—I knew I wanted to do Annie Grace’s training program.
I even remember where I was when I heard about it for the first time. 💭
I was maybe a year or so sober, on my way to the mall and listening to the This Naked Mind podcast. Quitting drinking had changed me from the inside out, so the idea of helping others change their relationships with alcohol and experience the transformation I’d experienced sounded like a dream career, but I dismissed it pretty quickly thinking I’d never actually have the confidence, time or resources to pursue something like that.
However, the desire continued to poke at me periodically, but it wasn’t until I quit my corporate job last fall, proving to myself that I was all in with this work, that I was able to find the courage to make such a significant financial and energetic investment in my business and in MYSELF! 💕
I’ve personally worked with a lot of coaches and have completed all sorts of programs to grow my skills as a coach and business owner, but I can honestly say this training I received directly from Annie Grace and her incredible team has been more valuable than all of those programs combined.
The skillset and library of science-based tools I learned through the program have not only helped me help my clients find true freedom from alcohol, but they’ve also helped me to grow personally in my own life to achieve my goals and manage my mind in a healthier way.
I never knew it was possible to love your work this much, but helping others find the courage within themselves to change their relationship with alcohol and transform their lives is the most magical experience I’ve ever had and I still can’t believe I get to do it every day. ♥️
