Middle school and high school art students recently created ofrendas as part of their Hispanic cultural studies.

Students in visual arts classes celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month in the art room by studying an artist of their choice from Hispanic and/or Latin American cultures. After their research, students created their own project in the artist's style or movement. Students could create a collage, a painting, sculpture, shrine or photo.
