CCHS Alumni Association Board Meeting: Jan. 21, 2026, 6 pm. CCHS is embarking on a capital campaign this spring. Preview of the new initiative will be provided.

Nascar's 1983 World 600 in Charlotte was held May 29, 1983, just days before we graduated. The progam featured Stroker Ace and Pembrook Fenny from the movie "Stroker Ace." No need to look it up. Did not win the Oscar for Best Picture. Who won the race? Neil Bonnett. Richard Petty was second.

CCHS hosts the Future Cougar Tailgate each fall for students and families from the MACS elementary schools. One of this year’s highlights was the Cougar mascot signing autographs and taking photos with the kids.
