We have exciting news! The owner of Little Sprouts is now a Tinkgergarten Leader- and our fall Tinkgergarten class is open for enrollment! 🌱

Join our little explorers on a weekly adventure with our Tinkgergarten class- Wednesdays at 3:30!

This Fall, we’re focusing on Wellness through our "Mind, Body & Heart" curriculum. The lessons will give kids chances to move their bodies, connect with nature and practice gratitude, joy and kindness—all tools kids can use to be and stay well. I know we could all use a little boost of joy right now!

Tinkgergarten is a play-based outdoor learning program that guides parents in raising healthy, confident, and capable kids. Each class will have a new nature themed activity, that incorporates wellness all while our explorers and guides (that’s you!) connect with our earth and our local community.

We are so happy to announce that Little Sprouts is now open for Spring 2022!

With 7+ years of experience in childcare, along with certifications such as CPR/BLS/First Aid/AED as well as Birth and Postpartum Doula training, Little Sprouts is prepared to care for little ones ages newborn to 5 years older. My experience ranges from being a mama myself, to being a preschool teacher, swim instructor, nanny, CNA, and doula.

Becoming a parent is a beautiful, wonder-filled, and even nerve-wracking process. Little Sprouts is happy to provide accessible, safe, and trustworthy childcare to all families.

Little Sprouts is a mama-made, home-based, childcare service. Our little ones have a natural rhythm that guides their development at their own pace, at Little Sprouts we value child-led learning and gentle parenting styles that encourage our everyday activities to be a new experience for curious little minds. Our methods encourage learning through play, expressing our feelings, and spreading kindness.

Little Sprouts accepts 1-2 little ones at a time, and currently has two spots available for full-time, part-time, occasional, and drop-in childcare services. Open to ages newborn to 5 years of age.

Located in the Matthews / Monroe / Indian Trail area- about 15 minutes from Downtown Matthews or Mint Hill and about 15-30 minutes from Charlotte depending on location.

At Little Sprouts, every day is a new opportunity to learn and grow. As we follow your child’s natural curiosity, we allow our everyday activities such as playing to be a learning experience! 🌱

Climbing around on our indoor play area and Pikler Triangle has been our main activity these days at Little Sprouts! The Pikler Triangle not only helps develop gross motor skills and create a safe way for little ones to discover their own abilities, but in our case it also is a great way to let our energy out when it’s too chilly to go exploring outside!

As a mama, I know how much we want our babies to be surrounded by love and safety. It has always been a passion of mine to create a positive and safe space for families to come to when looking for care for their little ones! After years of experience in childcare, I’m so happy to share my services with you and introduce Little Sprouts.

Little Sprouts is a mama-made, home-based, childcare service that provides safe and loving care for your little ones! With only 1-2 children in care at a time, your little one gets all the benefits of a daycare environment such as interaction with other children, while still being able to get the individual love and dedicated attention that they need. I have two little ones myself who spend the days with us, making a small group of 4 little ones our maximum.

As an in-home childcare service (FCCH) I am happy to provide another environment for your family that makes them feel at home away from home. Our days follow your little one's natural rhythm, and allows for daily activities that support your child's development.

Certifications include BLS/CPR/First Aid/AED, CNA, Birth and Postpartum Doula, Breastfeeding and Newborn Support, and Early Childhood Development Education
