The BGSO is a graduate student organization at UNC Charlotte that aims to address the unique needs of Black graduate students on our campus.

The BGSO is established to provide a safe space of support to incoming and continuing Black graduate students at UNC Charlotte. Our ultimate goal is to enhance the academic, pre-professional, and social experiences of Black students on this campus. This includes, but is not limited to, professional, academic, and research mentorship, peer-to-peer support, local service opportunities, social events
