For our last event this year, we’ll be having our Earth Day Pot Painting event this coming Thursday at El Rincon Latino, Coleman Hall room 1150.

We’ll provide pots and varieties of paint to get creative with, as well as seeds to add the finishing touches!🪴

We are proud to share that we have been recognized with Program of the Year at the Panther Leadership Awards 2026 for our “Know Your Rights” event during Latino Heritage Month, in collaboration with Students for Socialism.

This event was created to confront the ongoing anti-immigrant rhetoric affecting our communities. While Latino communities are often at the forefront of these attacks, we recognize that many communities are impacted. Through education and awareness, we remain committed to protecting our neighbors, friends, families, and community.

This recognition is not ours alone. Thank you to Students for Socialism for standing alongside us in this work. This award reflects our shared commitment to advocacy, solidarity, and continued collaboration.

We also want to congratulate our advisor, Luis Paniagua, on receiving the OLE Advocate & Partner of the Year award. Thank you for your unwavering support and for consistently uplifting students. And shout out to our friend Liz from Apsi for winning President of the Year!

We will continue to show up, speak out, and stand together.
