Hey everyone! Some more last-minute updates:

•We have several confirmed attendees who didn’t RSVP beforehand. We’re very excited to see you all, too, but please be advised that the catering order was based on RSVPs and there may not be enough food at the upstairs buffet for everyone. We respectfully ask that any guests who didn’t RSVP either wait until everyone else has grabbed food from the buffet, or order their own food from the kitchen downstairs. Apologies for the inconvenience, but we have more non-RSVPed guests than we anticipated! Still, it’ll be great to see you all!

•Additionally, we don’t have a strict dress code for the event. Bars typically have dress codes like “no backwards hats, no gang symbols, etc.” So, just use your best judgment!

Hi everyone! Some final updates/reminders for our reunion tomorrow:

•The reunion will be at Sam’s Uptown Café on Capitol Street from 6:30-9:30 PM. We have reserved the upstairs only. We’ll have our own bartender and buffet upstairs, so no need to go downstairs unless you want to!

•We have all day to set up for the reunion, so it won’t be a rush. If you’re available to help with setup, please message Jordan Nistendirk or Christopher Grady to coordinate times to help out! We will definitely need help with takedown after the reunion as well.

•PLEASE NOTE: Attendees will be responsible for purchasing their own drinks. We didn’t want to ask our sober alumni to help pay for alcohol they won’t even drink!

•If you plan to drink alcohol tomorrow, PLEASE drink responsibly and do NOT drive under the influence. An Uber or Lyft is much cheaper than a DUI! Please also keep an eye out for your classmates and, if you think someone is unable to drive safely, please speak up.

•Finally, we will continue accepting donations to reimburse reunion expenses indefinitely! Thanks to the generosity of our prior donors, we’ve already fully reimbursed the venue, DJ, and catering expenses! We do still have a few hundred dollars unreimbursed for decorations, though. Please donate any amount you can via Venmo or some other app. Jordan’s Venmo is -nistendirk. DM or comment if you need to donate through a different platform.

We’re so excited to see you all tomorrow! Hopefully, this will be the first of many great Class of 2016 reunions!

Decorations have been mostly purchased! Please note the updated total cost and updated total raised in the post and comments below. We’re almost done preparing, so the cost shouldn’t increase by much moving forward! Please share the original post and donate whatever you can!

Hi everyone! Another long post but PLEASE read. We can’t wait to see you next Saturday!

Anyway, it’s time to talk about money. In lieu of ticket sales, the planning committee has decided to request donations to help cover the costs of the reunion. To date, Christopher Grady and Jordan Nistendirk have committed a total of $1,664 in funding for venue rental, DJ, decorations, and food. Our #1 priority is putting together a fun reunion, of course, but this is a sizable expense for only two people to be paying!

A number of our classmates have already made generous contributions to help reimburse Chris and Jordan for these expenses. We’re so grateful to everyone who has already donated! We’re hoping any of you who can also contribute will follow their example! There’s no deadline to send money, but the sooner, the better!

If you’re able to donate any amount of money to help reimburse the expenses for our reunion, please Venmo Jordan -nistendirk or comment/DM if you’d prefer to send the money a different way. If we raise more than we need to pay for this reunion, the excess funds will be set aside for our next reunion.
