DOA HEMA Duelists of Appalachia [DOA] HEMA operates as a nonprofit sports team in the greater Charleston area of WV with a focus on Italian Longsword, Rapier and Sabre.

Classes every Wednesday and Saturday, occasional events and tournaments. Come see about us!

fun fact: if you come to Hurricon, you will see us there, sure.

But you will also get to meet the Beckley HEMA team and an SCA team from the Ashland, KY area as well.

Praxeum lightsaber folks will be doing their thing too, and we also *may* have our friends at Mountain State Saber Academy there, fighting with both HEMA sabers and lightsabers.
