College of Charleston Sex Week We want to explore the relationship between self-identity and s*xuality. As well as engage in open communication to educate about specific s*x topics.

S*xuality is important to our identity yet enacting upon that s*xuality carries with it very real risks, consequences, concerns, and, sometimes, very serious dangers. The duality of integral importance and serious danger raises a very important question. Why do we often feel uneasy (or even unable) to speak about s*x in an open and honest fashion in society? Couldn’t communication be used here to effect positive change and awareness of the issues facing us? Our main purpose is to actively engage and facilitate open and honest communication with students at the College Of Charleston. Our emphasis will be on education about the importance of discussions concerning s*xual health, s*xual issues, and s*xual identity.We are passionate about opening up this discussion to the College of Charleston community and seek to actively engage them in meaningful communication that will hopefully open and educate more than a few minds.
