Monday Motivation Message!
Happy Monday!
We hope everyone has been doing great navigating the first weeks of school! Let us know how things have been going so far...how’s your scholar adjusting? Online curriculum may be challenging at times, especially to keep up with, but we are here for any unanswered questions you may have.
A few of our parents have allowed us to contact teachers directly which will be extremely helpful for those unanswered questions. Communicating with teachers allows us to stay informed of their expectations for your scholar.
It is extremely important to stay in contact with your scholar’s teachers and pay attention to any notes or emails that they may send.
We are wishing everyone the best in the upcoming weeks!
Below are some tips for healthy virtual learning:
1. Environment: We learn better in quiet, well-organized spaces. Make sure your scholar is able to sit at a desk or table with space in an location with few distractions.
2. Brain-breaks: Mental breaks are great! When your scholar becomes frustrated, allow them to take a break for a snack and drink. Retaining information is extremely difficult when we are frustrated.
3. Positive Reinforcement: Learning is easier when we are confident and eager. Remind your scholar that they are brilliant, and capable 🙂
For tutoring sessions, review, or test preparation, we still have a few spots available for the week and many for the weekend!
For any questions or concerns schedule a free consultation! We are eager to chat!

This —virtual— academic year matters! Grading will go back to normal...
I am eager to begin virtual review sessions with our first 4 scholars next week. We will be reviewing last year’s curriculum so that they are fully prepared for Day 1! My goal is for scholars to feel prepared and confident during their first week of school.
Parents, please do not not take this year lightly. Although many districts have elected Virtual Education, the expectations for children are the same as if they were learning in a classroom. Grading will be normal. Students will be expected to follow curriculum just as they would in an in-person classroom setting.
Understandably, all students will not be able to follow virtual curriculum as they would in-person, and parents will take on a new teaching or assisting role to ensure that children are keeping up.
As a parent and teacher, I know this may be challenging. If you are seeking additional information, advice, or guidance on how to keep your scholar on track this year, please feel free to schedule a consultation, on us! (Services —> Free Consultation)
Let’s chat about planning and preparation for this year, last year’s curriculum review sessions, tutoring sessions, test-prep sessions, study guides, and anything else! 🙂

Happy Monday!
It’s officially back to school month for many families! It’s a great time to start opening up the books and spending a few hours each day familiarizing children with their most recent curriculum! In preparation, here are a few tips to help parents navigate our new teaching roles:
1. Reinforce positively! Positive reinforcement and praise is the best way to motivate!
2. Remember to wait! Patience encourages thinking.
3. If you’re stumped, turn it over to the teacher or tutor!
If you’re stumped about last year’s curriculum, schedule a virtual review session with your tutoring teacher! Encouragement, patience, & a smile is guaranteed!

“In the midst of this changing world, I feel compelled to do more to help scholars. As a parent, I understand the concern of having a child in the school building. I also know that many parents
do not feel equipped to help their scholars complete their school work. I am here to help by offering one-on-one personalized tutoring sessions.
Tutoring is not only for scholars that may need assistance with a subject, but also to ensure that scholars maintain excellence in their courses.
I am looking forward to being your tutoring teacher and remember, our services include encouragement, patience, and a smile!"
