Izzy + Charles’ color-forward September wedding at was featured in last week & we are Over the Moon about it! …first time you’ve heard that one, right?

Anyway, it’s true! Thank you for an opportunity to be creative & have so much fun with paper 🤍🩷🧡💚💛

there are some projects that just stick with you…. & this is one for me!

almost a year later and still loving this fresh, vibrant, yet soft suite for Lydea + Roberto🌼a forever favorite!

✨Cohesion✨ is the name of the game and I reaaaalllyyy wanted to nail this one for stunning Elena & her Jake!

From my very first meeting with Elena, Joy, Lillie, & Jake, I knew that color selection was pinnacle for this design and that I had to curate a palette that would foreshadow a moody, elevated, but refined late fall / early winter affair for these two.

I worked first on envelopes and worked backwards - somewhat atypical for a design, but these vertical top-open envelopes had to be the moment and had to be the perfect mix of purple and brown. From there, our green suede liner, ocean blue details card, and creamy ivory invitation fell right into place, all brought together by a sophisticated but fun serif typeface.

For day of, we channeled the same color palette and font selection to really show off the place settings with dramatic but simple horizontal menus that mimicked the details card from invitation suite— all customized for each guest based off entree!

A little✨Surcee from Surcee’s✨ from the bride & groom!

For a fun twist on a classic wedding weekend schedule, Sydney + Hunter’s intimate wedding ceremony and reception kicked off the weekend on a Thursday with more celebratory events to follow on Friday.

Sydney & I leaned into our spin on a traditional “welcome card” with these custom suede-lined hand stitched cocktail menu inspired booklets awaiting each guest at his or her seat at the dinner table. While the booklets served as menus featuring the night’s food + drink list, they also featured a welcome letter from the bride and groom as well as a weekend itinerary!

Guests could then take their little booklets home with them to reference throughout the weekend for the events to come✨their own little surcee!

This one is so special to me — not only do I adore their paper, but I adore these people and am so lucky to call them some of my best friends 🤍

It’s the month of love & later this month, we’ll celebrate their love all weekend long with + and I simply can’t wait 💓

Feeling so inspired & energized after yesterday’s meeting with some of the greatest in Charleston weddings about something really exciting (hopefully🤞🏼) upcoming for our local industry!

Days like yesterday are such a reminder that even in the midst of the grind, being a part of such an amazing community is something I am so incredibly thankful for❤️‍🔥

Loving how these booklet-style interactive save the dates for Margaret + Lawson take the guest from cover to cover, beginning the immersive experience process for what will be an amazing weekend in Jackson Hole this coming August!

Featuring forest greens and natural creams to foreshadow the natural beauty of the West, these save the dates feature a handwritten note from the bride & groom, gorgeous custom artwork by the bride’s friend as the front cover, & a precious photo of the couple fly fishing bringing it all together on the back💌
