The 2026 South Carolina Summit brought CREW members from across the state together in Charleston for a day of connection, conversation, and a closer look at the transportation infrastructure shaping South Carolina’s continued growth. 🚙✈️
We heard from SCDOT on the state’s transportation network and the infrastructure initiatives helping South Carolina navigate growth, followed by representatives from the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport, Columbia Metropolitan Airport, and the Charleston International Airport who shared insight into the growth of air service and the important role our airports play in connecting communities and driving economic development.
And we took the conversation from the classroom to the construction site with an inside look at Union Pier, getting a firsthand perspective on one of Charleston’s most significant waterfront redevelopment projects. 🏗️🌊
