UNC has started a military family support program through volunteer services! If you are interested in helping us reach out to our current and past service members as well as their families please apply to be a UNC volunteer. You don't have to be in the military to show appreciation for the sacrifices made by active duty members and their families - if you are interested please let us know!

Recently there has been a lot of political animosity in the air, but don’t forget to stop for a moment tomorrow and remember the true heroism displayed by our soldiers and their families each day. Our veterans have dedicated their lives to serving others through standards of duty and courage most of us cannot even fathom. They are the reason we have our freedoms and the lifestyle we have grown up knowing.
“While only one day of the year is dedicated solely to honoring our veterans, Americans must never forget the sacrifices that many of our fellow countrymen have made to defend our country and protect our freedoms.”
