We want to thank everyone for coming out to our Kashmir event and becoming more aware of the current lockdown in Kashmir and the massive human rights violations that the Kashmiris face daily.

In response to the Indian government's violent suppression of nationwide student-led protests against the CAA and NRC, Duke students have published a statement declaring solidarity with the protestors.
We encourage you to read the statement (bit.ly/dukeagainstcaa) and, show your support by signing it. If you would like to learn more about what's happening in India, we would be happy to discuss it with you and share other resources with you. In addition, the Duke Pakistani Students Association also strongly condemns the anti Muslim, discriminatory laws being imposed by the Modi government. We vehemently stand against the CAA, the NRC and the lockdown of Kashmir.
