Where does the time go? I feel like school just let out for the summer and now the summer is practically over. We are headed back to Oman after a whirlwind trip to the US. To say I'm looking forward to having the kids out of the house all day would be an understatement.
So I'm celebrating school being about to start with a cast-on picture from a sweater pattern coming in November.
The yarn is MCN from .fibers.

I made this dress on a whim a few months ago and it just didn’t work out as I had intended. When I put it on I was left with the impression that I had worn it before—for Easter in the 1990’s.
I no longer have the closet space to store something I’m never going to wear so I had to make a decision. I’ll save the details of what I did for my later on my sewing account () but I basically took scissors to it and created a new dress I’ll actually wear.
Of course I finished this just in time for the temperature to drop so I’ve been wearing my new sundress with my hand knit Bishops Park. I am kind of digging the way they look together.
The last picture is the dress before I fixed it. See what I mean about the little girl’s Easter dress vibes?
