We are headed home! The students learned so much, and they are TIRED! What a wonderful trip we’ve had.

Good Day from Capitol Hill! We had an awesome morning on “The Hill” meeting with Representative Greg Stanton and Senator Mark Kelly. We are so grateful they both volunteered their time to meet with all of us to share their experiences and answer our questions. Thank you, Representative Stanton and Senator Kelly! 💜 Chandler Unified School District

Day 2 in the books! We visited all of the war memorials and our first museum. (Not surprisingly, our instructors receive compliments from other visitors about how well behaved and thoughtful our students are 💜) It was quiet very quickly when it was time for room checks tonight! It’s that time again! Our 8th Grade Close Up Field Trip to Washington, DC started today with a 3am airport arrival. We already started working in our workshop groups, saw several memorials, and enjoyed dinner in Georgetown. Our trip is off to a great start! Chandler Unified School District

AC Pen students had a tremendous weekend at Nationals! Our 8th grade team placed 1st in the Invited division and the following individuals also medaled in overall:
