In our effort to continue to grow this publication and our chapter, we are looking for articles about you or your place of business, a topic that is near and dear to you, something that you are passionate about, a favorite recipe, a profile of a culinarian that deserves to have their story told, a charity organization or event that needs or deserves exposure and basically anything else that may be of interest to our ACFAZ Community.

One of the best reasons to wake up before dawn indeed! Our chefs at ACF Chef's Association of Arizona volunteered to cook and serve breakfast over at our Friends at Southwest Wine Center, Yavapai College. There were over 50+ volunteers, students and staff that harvested grapes as the sun rose below the base of Mingus mountain. The program was established to fulfill the education and workforce development needs of a thriving Arizona wine industry. Thank you to our sponsors and chef volunteers who represented our chapter!

GRAPES are READY!! WE are going to Harvest the Grape on August 30th, Labor Day Weekend.

So, if you are interested, please put the date aside! Make it weekend up in the Cottonwood area!

Should be at least 20 degrees cooler up in Cottonwood for the Holiday Weekend.

Chef Chris Cwierz competed for the Chef Educator of the Year and executed an innovative plated dessert demo featuring prova gourmet and AUI Fine foods!

Chef Meegan Roberts and Villa Dolce volunteered and sponsored the community outreach Chef & Child Event.
