Safe Routes is such a great way to promote healthy habits, community connection, and, most importantly, student safety. Thank you to everyone who makes this wonderful program possible! 🐯

Friday, September 25th, 2026 marks the 16th annual CFIS Walk to School Walk to Town

Students will start the day with a walk to school—either from home or a designated drop-off location—and enjoy Einstein Bros. Bagels upon arrival.

After school, students will parade to downtown alongside the Safe Routes mascot, “The Chicken,” and gather at Riverside Park for our exciting Fun Fitness Fair.

🏃‍♂️ The fair will feature a variety of movement-focused activities including:
* Kid-friendly Pilates
*Tug of war with volunteers from Chagrin Falls Dads' Club
*Face painting
*Active games & more!

🍎 Healthy snacks will be available, and students can win 🎁 prizes, including gift cards to local businesses—encouraging them to return and explore our vibrant downtown community.

We’re so grateful for local businesses, like yours, Sugar & Frogs, that support our students, programs, and community. We can’t wait to see everyone at the Tailgate! Go Tigers! 🐯

I’m excited to be back at the Chagrin Falls Booster Tailgate! Hope to see you outside Harris Stadium on Friday the 28th at 5:00 pm, before the Tigers take on the Orange Lions. This free party put on by the Chagrin Falls Booster Club is always a great time, with hamburgers and hot dogs, face painting, the marching band, and more! Sugar&Frogs will be on hand with your favorite Chagrin tees and stickers, and 10% of all sales will be donated to the Boosters.

🔥 Mark it down: the Chagrin Falls Dads' Club Fall Family Picnic is Saturday, October 3, 12:30–4:00 at Plzak Farm on Bell Road.

Bounce houses, a magic show, a dunk tank, burgers and dogs off the grill, games all afternoon. Free, and every family in the district is invited — no membership required.

And a quick one for anyone who's been meaning to get involved: we meet tomorrow, Thursday, 7:30 PM at Plaza Agave (8377 E Washington St). We're divvying up the picnic — grilling, setup, games, whatever you've got time for. New faces welcome, no commitment to walk in the door.

Two dads just spent a night getting Mortimer back on the wall at Gurney before the kids showed up. That's the club. Come be part of it. 🐯
