Cub Run Elementary School

Our students absolutely blew us away at the talent show yesterday evening! With all of the acts, ranging from piano solos to comedy, the stage was packed with so much creativity and courage.

A special shout-out to our fantastic sixth graders (and Mr. K) for hosting the event! They did an amazing job introducing the acts, keeping the energy high, and making sure everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. And thank you to the Cub Run PTA for their support in getting this off the ground!

We are so proud of all our performers for sharing their talents with us, and so grateful to our families who came out to cheer them on. What a fun reminder of how multi-talented our Cubbies are!

Our Cubbies had a ton of fun at Field Day this morning! It was a great start to the day with plenty of fresh air, sunshine, and lots of smiles.

We'd like to give a huge shoutout to our sixth graders who ran the different stations, and a big thank you to all of our adult volunteers who helped make sure our Cubbies had fun while also keeping safe! 🙂

Thank you to everyone who came out for our first annual "This is Us!" night last Thursday.

It was wonderful to see so many different cultures, traditions, and backgrounds represented all in one room. From the food and displays to the traditional clothing, we really enjoyed getting to learn more about the families that make up our Cub Run community.

Thank you to everyone who shared a piece of their heritage with us and to everyone who came out to support the event. We have a truly great community here!

Join us this Wednesday, April 22nd, at 3:30pm for our annual Earth Day Cub Run Cleanup!

Grab your friends, family, gardening gloves, shovels, and come on out to join us as we beautify the grounds surrounding Cub Run. There will be pizza, rock painting, and family fun, all while creating a great outdoor space for our students! This is a great opportunity for older siblings who may need some service, hours, too!

New Year’s good wishes to our Theravada Buddhist community! Theravada means “the teachings of the elders.” New years celebrations include a water festival in which participants bathe Buddha images and pay respect to their elders.

Our Cubbies had a blast last Friday night during the annual volleyball game against Virginia Run Elementary School!

A huge congratulations to our sixth graders for their win, and great job to our Cub Run cheerleaders who took center court before the games to raise the spirits of our cubbies in the stands!
