Thursday is a 2:00 dismissal and Spring Break is 4/3-4/12. 🪻🌷
We hope our students, staff, and families enjoy a well-deserved break filled with rest, relaxation, and time together. ☀️

🎯 Boot Camp Complete! Mission Accomplished! 🎯

Our North Wamac students officially wrapped up state testing this week, and we couldn’t be more proud of the effort they showed from start to finish.

Over the past couple of weeks, our Boot Camp theme helped keep students focused, motivated, and ready to give their best each day. From “training drills” in the classroom to encouraging messages around the building, our students rose to the challenge.

🏆 Congratulations to our prize winners who earned rewards through their hard work and positive attitude!

👏 A big thank you to our teachers and staff for making Boot Camp such a fun and supportive experience for our students. Your energy and commitment made all the difference.

Now it’s time to take a breath, finish the year strong, and enjoy the final stretch!

North Wamac students and staff donate over 2,000 boxes of mac and cheese to benefit area food pantries! We are so proud of our Eagles!!🦅

Back to Back Champs!! Our students and stafff went above and beyond to collect macacaroni and cheese boxes to donate to support our local food pantries! For the seond year in a row we are the winners of the area wide campaign sponsored by the CHS National Honor Society! Way to go Eagles!! 💙🦅 💛 Wamac Gives Back!!

📚 State Testing Starts Tomorrow 📚

State testing will take place Monday, March 23 through Friday, March 27 at North Wamac.

The biggest key to success is simple:

Be here. Be on time. Every day.

When students arrive late or miss a day, it can be stressful and harder for them to do their best.

You can help by:
• Making sure your child is at school on time each day
• Helping them get a good night’s sleep
• Having them eat breakfast before school

Our students are prepared, and we’re excited to see them show what they know.

🐘🦒🦁Mrs. Tate’s students recently became zoo exhibit designers! 🐾

Each student selected a zoo animal to research and then designed and built a model enclosure specifically for that animal. They had to think like real zoo planners and include spaces for their animal to relax, play, and eat, along with a safety feature to keep both the animals and visitors protected. Their enclosures also had to be viewable for zoo guests, just like at a real zoo.

Students used their research to make sure their enclosure met the needs of their animal’s natural habitat and behaviors. The creativity, problem-solving, and attention to detail were impressive!

Great work by our young designers and animal experts! 🐘🦒🦁

📚 🇺🇸We wrapped up Read Across America week with One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish!

After lounging in their pjs while listening to the story, students had a colorfull goldfish snack in the cafeteria. 🎏

🦊 Fox in Socks was a hit! Students listened to the story as told by the Fox while showing off their favorite fun socks! 🧦

Our cooks even got in on the Dr. Seuss theme by providing Thing 1 and Thing 2 berries at lunch! 🍓🫐

Friday we will read One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish 🎏 Wear your pajamas!
