🐟🌿💧 Stream Smart - a clean water project and RAIN Rogue Aquatic Invasives Network are out at the Rogue Spey Clave at Griffin Park. Here, we hope to partner with members of the fishing community to help keep aquatic invasives under control by participating in w**d pull events, which opens up important fish habitat, and discuss water quality and improvements that can be made for the benefit of all. It's a great event with great folks. Come check it out! 🐟🌿💧

Consider joining Robert, Save The Phoenix Wetlands, Pollinator Project Rogue Valley, and Southern Oregon Monarch Advocates at Blue Heron Park. 🌞🌱💦 Last Saturday and Wednesday, RAIN Rogue Aquatic Invasives Network partners got on the Rogue River to perform some very important invasive water primrose and parrotfeather work. Look at these before and after photos!

🌱💧🌱 This morning, Stream Smart - a clean water project, Rogue River Watershed Council, and Bear Creek Restoration Initiative partners hosted mayors from Ashland, Central Point, Depoe Bay, and Sisters on a tour of the Bear Creek RM 19 Project. Great discussions were had and we are happy to have had the opportunity to share our collaboration stories. 🌱💧🌱

🌱🌱🌱 Thank you to the 15 participants, including those from the Bureau of Land Management, Oregon Department of Agriculture, Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, Silver Fox Aquatic and Noxious W**d Control, RAIN Rogue Aquatic Invasives Network, Rogue Valley Council of Governments, Jackson + Josephine Counties Cooperative W**d Management Area, and more for helping remove invasive parrotfeather from a backwater slough at Whitehorse County Park. It was a fun, rewarding morning pulling aquatic w**ds! 🌱🌱🌱

Last week, members of the Oregon Invasive Species Council (OISC) joined the RAIN Rogue Aquatic Invasives Network on a float trip down the Rogue River to learn about the important work being done to protect this incredible resource. Participants had the opportunity to help manage invasive species along the river, including parrotfeather, and see firsthand the collaborative efforts that help keep our waterways healthy. Support from OISC and our many partners makes this work possible, and we are grateful for their commitment to protecting the Rogue River and its native ecosystems.
