Thank you to DT Midstream for their continued support of our co-op! Thanks to their generosity, we were able to purchase practical things like more shelving for our storage room, as well as exciting items like medical models, mice and headphones for our computer lab, preschool manipulatives, and tons of reusable supplies for our continuing educational goals. Thank you for blessing us with amazing opportunities for our students!

The back-to-school pictures have officially faded from our feeds, and for some families, reality is starting to set in. For a lot of families, the honeymoon phase is over. If your child is coming home stressed, overwhelmed, or just having a miserable time, we want to share a little secret with you: You are not stuck.

It is definitely not too late to pull them out and homeschool. You really can just change your mind right now! The best part is, you do not have to figure it out alone because you can jump right in with our group immediately.

Here is what we have going on that you can still get involved in:

Our Archery Team: We still have room, and it is a great way for the kids to learn focus, build confidence, and have fun together.

Field Trips & Family Events: We have a lot of awesome community outings planned. You can instantly plug into our village and make friends outside of a traditional classroom.

SALT Club: This is our challenging academic leadership and citizenship club for grades 4 through 12. We are actually having our very first meeting ever on September 10, so your student would be starting right at the beginning with everyone else!

If you are on the fence or just want to chat about how to make the transition, send us a private message or drop a comment below. Taking the leap can be scary, but the freedom on the other side is so worth it.

Our homeschool adventure started during Libby’s 2nd grade year. Libby developed some pretty severe anxiety when she was in 1st grade, so we made the choice to homeschool for 2nd. She needed time and help that she couldn’t get in a public school setting.

We spent the first half of that school year focusing mainly on getting Libby’s anxiety under control, then we joined Co-op for the Spring semester in 2025. It has been such a blessing every semester since! I’m so grateful that Libby has such a great group of kids to grow up with, and I’m grateful for the friendships I’ve made as well!

My favorite thing about PCH Co-op is how every parent there is invested in every single child. Each parent has made the decision to sacrifice time out of their busy schedules, and devote it to not only their own children, but every child in our little village. Being part of a community of likeminded families, and watching it grow each year, has been incredible! I’m excited to see all the blessings the Lord has in store for our group!

What an awesome field trip today to the National Corvette Museum and Aviation Heritage Park!

At the National Corvette Museum Museum, the kids raced Hot Wheels, saw the classic cars and the sinkhole, and learned all about aerodynamics.

The Aviation Heritage Park & Museum provided an incredible, up close and personal tour with planes and helicopters. Alongside the history, our kids learned about working hard, striving toward their goals, and saying yes to a challenge.

We are always looking to grow our community! If you are a Christian family looking to actively engage in hands on learning and fellowship, we invite you to join us for field trips and so much more! Our outings are a fantastic way to bring lessons to life and build lasting connections with like minded homeschoolers.

Hey everyone, we wanted to put out a quick PSA about some things we've been hearing locally regarding school districts reaching out to homeschoolers.

We’ve been told that Muhlenberg County is sending out surveys to families asking why they are homeschooling, and Todd County actually has people going door to door asking questions about it.

Having district personnel show up on your doorstep unannounced and uninvited feels incredibly invasive, so we wanted to talk about what to do if this happens to you.

First off, you can respond however you want to. But please know that you are not legally required to answer any of their questions, and you absolutely do not have to invite them into your home.

Our best advice is to be polite, but be exactly as firm as you need to be. We have a legal right to homeschool our kids in Kentucky. HSLDA clearly states that we do not have to provide our homeschool records to anyone unless we have been reported for educational neglect and officials have gone through the proper legal channels.

If this kind of thing makes you nervous, this is exactly why our group offers a member discount for HSLDA. They are basically your legal defense team if anything ever comes up with your homeschooling. If you are a member and need the discount code, just shoot us a message.

Otherwise, politely stand your ground and know your rights!

(Quick note: We are a homeschool community, not attorneys, so this isn't official legal advice. This is exactly why having an organization like HSLDA in your corner is so helpful!)

Hey everyone! If you’ve been looking for a club that will actually challenge your 4th–12th graders, we are launching something brand new this year called the SALT Club.

This group is a challenging academic leadership and citizenship club, really geared toward students who want to push themselves academically, learn real leadership skills, and get out and serve our community. The goal is to let the kids take ownership of their education and work together on high-level projects.

For the schedule, we’re keeping it simple to start: we’ll meet every other Thursday morning through October. After that, ongoing meeting times will just depend on which project or competition teams your kids decide to join.

We aren't wasting any time at our first meeting. The kids will jump right into:
• Leadership Development: Working through some fun, collaborative team-building challenges.
• Student-Led Service: Brainstorming actual needs in our community so they can launch a local service project.
• Academics: Forming teams for competitions like the Tristate Book Battle and National History Day.

If this sounds like the kind of group your student would thrive in, send me a direct message or drop a comment below. I’d love to send you the registration link and get your student involved this semester!

As we prepare to kick off our fall classes on September 10th, we are pausing to reflect on how incredibly grateful we are. We have more students enrolled this semester than ever before, and we are just so humbled to be a part of what God is doing for homeschoolers right here in our community.

From the very beginning, we’ve prioritized 𝑠𝑙𝑜𝑤, 𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑦 𝑔𝑟𝑜𝑤𝑡ℎ. Trusting His timing has allowed us to build a solid, healthy culture where our kids, teachers, and families can truly support one another and thrive together.

While our core fall co-op classes are currently full, our hearts and our community are wide open! If you are a homeschooling family looking for connection, we would love to welcome you. There are still great ways to jump in with us this season:

🍂 Fall Clubs & Events: Come along for the ride! We’d love for you to join us for our Fall Festival, pumpkin patch visits, and our special winter trip to see The Nutcracker in December.

🎯 Archery Team: We are also welcoming new members to our archery team! (Please note: Per NASP, to join the archery team, students do need to be actively involved in our educational opportunities at PCH - but this is more than just fall classes.)

🌸 Spring Semester: Getting connected with us this fall is the absolute best way to experience our culture, make friends, and be ready to jump right in for an epic spring semester!

If you are looking for your people, we would love to meet you. Send us a message to find out how to get involved!

🏹🔥 THE MINERS ARE BACK! 🔥🏹

A new archery season is just around the corner, and we are SO excited for what this year has in store! 🖤❤️

And this year, our Miners are getting a serious upgrade… ACTUAL TEAM JERSEYS! 🤩🏹

We’re so excited to finally have jerseys that make our team feel like a TEAM! And the best part? Players will have the option to customize their jersey with their own name and make it their own. 🙌

Last season, we were incredibly proud to take 8 of our members to the State competition! 🏹🎯

But this year…

How many Miners will make it to States?

How far will we go?

How many medals will come home with us? 🏅

We’re ready to work hard, grow together, and see what this team can accomplish!

🔥 The target is set. The season is coming.

🏹 MINERS, ARE YOU READY? 🏹

SIGN-UPS FOR THE UPCOMING ARCHERY SEASON WILL BE COMING SOON! Keep an eye out for all the details!

Let’s see what this team can do! ❤️🖤
