C is for COLOR! 🌈🎨

Our Extended Day students had a colorful time exploring the letter C! Using cups of water, food coloring, and paper towels, they watched the colors travel and create a rainbow right before their eyes!

Small details, BIG discoveries! 🔍

Our 6th graders explored the world of microscopes as they rotated through hands-on lab stations, learning how microscopes work, identifying their different parts, and practicing how to properly use microscopes and prepare slides.

We love seeing our students’ curiosity in action as they build new skills and discover the science hidden in the details! 💛💚

Congratulations to our 8th grade boys and 6th grade girls on coming out victorious in their championship soccer games! We are so proud of your hard work, teamwork, and determination. Way to bring home the wins, Crusaders! 💚💛

Our 3rd graders enjoyed a fantastic day at the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery! Students explored the museum, watched a planetarium show called The Sky Tonight, and met live animals while learning how they adapt to their environments. It was a fun-filled day of hands-on science and discovery!

On behalf of the faculty, staff, and administration of Archbishop Alter High School, congratulations to Noah Johnson, Henry Kaufman, and Henry McCall on being named a Commended Student in the 2027 National Merit® Scholarship Program. 
 
This distinguished recognition reflects these students outstanding performance on the 2025 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®). Each of these students High Selection Index score places them among approximately 50,000 students nationwide who demonstrated exceptional academic promise through their performance on this important national examination. 
 
Being recognized as a National Merit Commended Student is a significant achievement. These three students are among approximately 34,000 students across the country who have earned this distinction, placing them among some of the nation’s most accomplished high school students. Congratulations!

Our Merit Society came together to pack all the toiletry items generously collected for the Blue Star Mothers Group. We are so proud of our students for putting their time and effort into making a difference in the lives of others.
