Allen Baker served in the military and Civil Service before retiring to teach college classes. He has become an excellent communicator in his speaking and writing. He is concerned that many new Christians receive no discipling after their conversion, so they fall back into their old lifestyle and they miss the joys of being a child of God. He is on a mission to help churches make committed Christian disciples of all their members.

We had our first Board Meeting on Tuesday evening, and we want to introduce you to the Board Members/Officers. From left to right we have Allen Baker, founder of AWBaker Ministries; Dave Bishop, Chairman; Jason Edwards, Secretary/Treasurer; and Gerald Bridges, Vice Chairman.

These men come with years of experience in both ministry and being on boards for other non-profits. We are so thankful for them and excited to see how God uses this ministry for discipleship!

It is available for pre-order now, and will be officially released on Monday, Sept. 16th - just 1 week away! The best thing you can do is buy them a copy of my book, "Getting to Know Your Bible". We had a Book Signing event a little while back, and sold a stack of the books. Get yours and one (or two) for friends from Amazon, Walmart.com, Barnes & Noble (online), or Christian Book.
