Our first In Person Assembly after Covid. What a great Celebration this was!!

Hi friends!! Brandi here, also known as Ms. Brandi. Tomorrow June 6th, marks the last day of school, and also the last day that Garfield Elementary's doors will be open to students. Wow!! I have been a part of Garfield PTA for 12 years now (wild to think it’s been that long) since my oldest daughter Bella, started kindergarten. I can’t thank you all enough for the lifelong memories, friendships, and most importantly the community we have built here at Garfield. I truly have loved every moment planning events and fun activities for the students and families of Garfield. To see the joy on all of your faces has been truly a real gift. With that being said, while these doors close another one opens. The Sawyer Family has decided that we will not be joining everyone in Trailside next year and will be pursuing a different school. This was a very difficult decision for our family but in case any of your littles ask, I wanted to make you aware. I plan to keep this page up as long as Facebook will allow me to, in case you need photos for graduation. I wish you and your family nothing but the best and please remember two things. “If you make learning fun they will love to learn” lastly my favorite quote from Helen Keller “Alone we can do so little; but together we can do so much” I love you all and many Blessings to you all in the future!

Big shout out to everyone that made it to the Final Spring Concert and Carnival at Garfield a couple of weeks ago! What a great night it was!!

What a great day we had yesterday for our Final Walk-a-Thon at Garfield!! Everyone had a wonderful time and the kids raised just enough money to go on their end of the year field trips to Camp Tanager and The Childrens Museum. Join us in a couple of weeks for The Spring Concert and Carnival!!

Friendly reminder!! This is the last weekend to collect donations for our Walk-a-Thon!! You can donate via PayPal, Venmo, or Cash. We can’t wait til next Friday for our All School Walk-a-Thon!!

We are halfway through our Walk-a-Thon Fundraiser! The weather is perfect out to get out to ask for donations. (make sure you are accompanied by an adult) We can't wait till the end of the month to see who the winner is and do our ALL School Walk!! Make it a great day!!

The Walk-a-Thon Kickoff is HERE!!! It's time to start raising money for our Spring Field Trips!! All students should have come home with their Walk-a-Thon Envelopes on Friday. Donations are due back no later than April 22nd to be eligible for Prizes. The All-School Walk-a-Thon will be held on April 26th. Class times will be announced closer to the date. Make it a great day!
