Congratulations to Protege and Happiness on a great start to the 2026 competition season!

Protege opened the year with a strong 4th place finish in the Treble Prep division.

Happiness overcame NOT HAVING ANY KEYBOARDS in their show to finish in 5th Place overall.

Izzy Westercamp earned a well deserved Best Soloist Award. And the band won the Best Band award!! She had to come in acapella…in the right key…with no pitches playing! Such a superstar!

A special shout out to Kaya Doty, our bass player, who saved the day by providing the singers with the pitch foundation for the ballad when none of our keyboards were working.

This first contest of the year is a reminder of all the work our parents do to allow us to have great days like this. A heartfelt thank you from Mrs. Brunson and I to our moms and dads that provide vital support of time and talent to make our kids shine!

Off to Prairie in two weeks!

Chamber Choir members are learning from Meg Byrne today at the CRCSD All State festival! Singing with their student colleagues from Washington and Jefferson, today is a great day of music making and fellowship! Join us for the concert tonight at 7:00pm at First Lutheran Church tonight! (10/14/25)
