Ego kills growth. Ego kills the brotherhood and sisterhood we should be building.

Those who need to hear it: stop pretending to be something you aren’t. The inability to learn, grow, or accept where you are in this craft is ego.

Rank, department size, and years on the job does not give you the right to act like a di****ad who knows it all.

Remember pretending to be badass doesn’t make you look impressive. It makes you look like a real bum.🤡

Lose the ego. Cut the act. Don’t be a bum.

Class 19 is in the books.

What a damn ride. Proud to have been part of something special and even prouder of the firefighters walking out ready to work.

Being back at my home department in the Training Division has been a huge blessing. There’s no better feeling than having the opportunity to build the next generation of firefighters and give back what was given to me.

Thank you to my family for putting up with the long days and nights, and to the instructors and fitness cadre for putting in the work these last eight weeks.

Class 19 — go earn it every damn day.

Highly recommend attending! These guys are doing great things. Had a great time last year with some great people!!
