Four years ago, she walked into this team and immediately made it feel like home for everyone around her. Today, we celebrate the girl who never once stopped shining.

Makenna, you are the ray of sunshine every team hopes to have.

From the first day of practice to the last, you walked in with a smile, a hug, and enough energy to lift the whole room. You made the scared freshmen feel brave. You made the hard days feel lighter. You hyped people up like it was your job and as captain, it was, but you did it long before anyone gave you that title.

Your teammates say there's never a dumb question when you're around, and no one ever feels left out. You always go for it, 110%. Every. Single. Time.

Four years of heart. Four years of hustle. Four years of making every single person on this team feel like they belong.

Kelsey, your teammates say it best - you made practice funnier, harder, and better all at the same time. You knew every clean, you gave 110% every rep, and somehow you still had energy left over to make sure everyone around you felt seen, heard, and lifted up.

You didn't just hold the title of captain - you lived it. Every. Single. Day.

Ready to challenge yourself, improve as a dancer, and be part of something fun and competitive? We’re excited to welcome dancers interested in joining the JV Dance Team for the 2026-2027 season.

Tryout details:
This team is open to students who will be in 8th-10th grade for the 2026-2027 school year.

Wednesday, May 6th from 3:30 to 5:30

Save the Date for our 7th Grade Pom Clinic!
Calling future dancers - join CFDT this fall for a fun introduction to dance team! Dancers will learn sideline routines, build skills, and get a taste of the dance team experience.

This opportunity is open to 7th grade students for the 2026-2027 school year!
