North Cedar Neighborhood Association

The NCNA needs participation! Whether attending meetings/activities, or sharing ideas. We want you ! Only $10 a year! We want to make sure we stay on the map.

The North Cedar Neighborhood Association (NCNA) was formed in July, 2009 at the urging of City Council member Tom Hagarty (Ward 1) and citizen Bill Morse. The two organized an informational meeting, and with very positive feedback, the North Cedar Neighborhood Association was formed. In the following months, temporary directors were voted in as bylaws were created, and committees were formed to mo

ve the neighborhood forward. Although the catalyst of formation was the devastating Flood of 2008, the need for a Neighborhood Association was long over due. The mission of the NCNA is to strengthen the community, promote safety and quality of life, and to facilitate neighbors' pursuit of other common interests. In other words, we're here to make our neighborhood better. We want our neighborhood to continue to be an attractive, vibrant part of Cedar Falls. We want to keep our neighborhood school thriving. With the Flood buyout process potentially affected over 200 families, organization of the collective voice was necessary. Absolutely necessary. North Cedar Neighborhood Association

When neighbors are engaged, communities become safer, more resilient, and deeply supportive! NCNA is committed to improving our amazing neighborhood. Our volunteers are the absolute best, but we always welcome more.

Help us get to 1000 followers by the end of Sept. Share with neighbors and let them know NC info is shared here.

A great night with amazing food and terrific neighbors at the Annual NC Potluck !
We appreciate all that brought donations for the Cedar Falls Food Pantry and our city leaders that always show up for NC !
Thank you to all that brought dishes to share and to our grill masters - it was a hot one.
If last night was the first time joining us - we would love to have you back. We have many great things happening in NC.

NCNA will be grilling the brats and burgers ! We will also supply water, condiments, and table settings. Please bring a dish to share.

Be the person your dog thinks you are! 🐶 Doggie waste stations now in North Cedar for your convenience thanks to NCNA !
Volunteers will keep the bags stocked so when you are out walking our furry friends don’t forget to pick up.
